Irish Aid project: “I have known differences among the invoices”

On 22 and 23 August, 2015, more than 50 people and two government staff of People’s Committee of Thuong Tien and Hop Dong communes, Kim Boi district participated in training course on Management of Operation and Maintenance Fund.

This activity was within the framework of the project “Pilot of Community-based Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of communal infrastructures in Program 135” sponsored by Irish Aid. The training course aimed to equip knowledge and skills of managing fund for community based groups before disbursing funds of operation and maintenance plans which were approved by the CPC.

After the training, Ms. Bui Thi Di, Bai Rong village, Thuong Tien commune said: “Before I used to purchase but do not know what kind of invoices. Through training I knew the differences among VAT, retail billing, and receipts also. I would apply this knowledge to manage the operation and maintenance fund of running water work in my village “.
