Tra Vinh became one of the first provinces in the southwestern region to assign the community to self-govern the maintenance of infrastructure with the budget of program 135. This is one of the important results of the project.
After decision No 2308 / QD-UBND, RIC and the Committee for Ethnic Minorities of Tra Vinh province collaborated to develop a detailed handbook on the implementation of community-based maintenance with specific procedures and simple- easy forms for people. On 30/09/2020, RIC and the Committee for Ethnic Minorities of Tra Vinh province cooperated to organize a workshop to consult stakeholders on the contents of the handbook. With the support from consultants, it will be published and used in October 2020.
