On February 24, 2016 results of the infrastructure works survey in 2 project communes Ngoc Son and Ngoc Lau, Lac Son district, Hoa Binh province were reported to local authorities and people.

Survey in Ngoc Lau and Ngoc Son communes organized from January 11th to February 17th , 2016, 53 works investigated which include: 17 running water works, 03 wells, 05 cultural houses, 10 canals and 02 reservoirs, 11 roads, 02 health centers, 02 kindergartens and 01 secondary schools.

13 works in 2 communes which were met the requirements of the project were chosen to apply maintenance include 09 running water and 04 irrigation works. Local government and leaders of the two project communes agreed to transfer infrastructure works for community groups to operate and maintain. Chairman of the project communes People’s Committee will steer directly and through the communal irrigation traffic officers. Traffic officers will be the point of contact and feedback information from local project to community leaders and with direct work with the project villages. Community groups will be established in March 2016.
